In continuation of the VNX generation, the production of VNX 3 is not planned and Unity is placed as a new Storage Platform in the Midrange group.
EMC has placed the Unity Array between the VNXe 1600, VNXe 3200, 7600, and Hybrids 8000.
In this series of EMC storage, there are four new models, in each model the storages are All Flash (this category is distinguished by the letter F) and Hybrid:
EMC UNITY has speed and simplicity at the same time and can easily extend data to the Cloud.
This series, like the previous series, has the capabilities of a SAN and NAS. The All Flash models of this series simplify storage operations while reducing costs and data center footprint.
